This setup is ideal for beginners who are new to foiling or have little to no prior watersports experience. Compared to traditional eFoil boards, it is also much easier to transport and travel with. Another major advantage is its versatility: the same board and foil can also be used for wing foiling.The inflatable Midfish Air foil board offers plenty of buoyancy and stability, while the Cruise Mast provides smooth, full-time electric propulsion. While all Foil Assist masts are normally used in combination with our battery harness, riders who prefer foiling without a leash or harness can replace it with the Battery Box Mounting Set. In this configuration, the battery box is mounted on the tail of the board (currently compatible only with the Midfish Air).For beginners in particular, riding without a leash and cable makes getting onto the board, kneeling, and standing up significantly easier, as there is no risk of becoming tangled.The battery box is mounted on a dedicated plate, making it easy to secure and access the box. This allows batteries to be inserted, swapped, or removed quickly and conveniently at any time. The wire antenna ensures a reliable connection between the motor and remote, even when the tail of the board and battery box are submerged in the water.Installation takes only a few minutes. First, replace the standard mast cable with the shorter cable included in the set. Next, mount the mast to the board and route the antenna wire through the small tube beneath the footpad. Then secure the battery box to the board’s D-rings using the four reusable zip ties. Finally, connect the cable to the battery box and attach the antenna. Your eFoil setup is ready to ride.Please note that the Battery Box Mounting Set is not included in the Foil Cruise Set and must be purchased separately.
